Obama's Rhetoric Is the Real 'Catastrophe'
He even uses that same argument that I did, that 1982 was worse than now and to say that this is the worst since 1930 is a flat out lie, used for simple political gain.
The latest survey pegs U.S. unemployment at 7.6%. That's more than three percentage points below the 1982 peak (10.8%) and not even a third of the peak in 1932 (25.2%). You simply can't equate 7.6% unemployment with the Great Depression.
So I am not nuts, I just wish more people would research this, would figure out that our President is a socialist bent on taking my money and giving to to someone who did not work for it.

Is depression here or not? not very clear. But if you look at the past history recessions and depressions come and go. Economies go through cycles and recession is part of the cycle. I read the history of cycles at http://www.recessioninfocenter.com
so if you tighten up during recession it makes sense
Of course it does, I agree completely. I just wish our President agreed. Not much tightening in that pork loaded bill is there?
The point of the post however is the fact that Mr. Obama is talking down the economy, still, even after he was sworn in. Not Presidential, not at all, unless you are trying to change the basics of the economy from capitalism to socialism.
